FAMILY PHOTOS!

Scotty's parents were in town and they wanted me to take some photos of their cute family so we all headed to the park. I am such an amatuer (if I can call myself even that) but usually just try to take as many pictures as possible in hopes that there will be at least a couple of good ones. :) I was lucky enough to get some of Logan and Bailey also.

We spent the entire day at the park on Saturday and Bailey absolutely loved it. Not once did she get fussy and when she got tired she basically just rolled over and fell asleep. She is definitely an outdoor girl which I LOVE! :)

P.S. The only reason I don't have any pictures of Logan is cause he wouldn't slow down long enough for me to snap a photo!!

10 YEAR REUNION

I was so excited to go to our reunion ever since I heard about it, but ended up not going on Saturday. Thinking about it now and especially hearing how much fun it was I am totally bummed we missed out, but since Billy started school this year things have been really crazy and hectic. It seems like we never get to just hang out or spend time with the kids, but finally on Saturday we spent the whole day together and when it was time to get up to get ready to the reunion we both just kinda didn't want it to be over with. We decided we would rather spend more time with each other and Logan and Bailey. So even though we missed out on seeing all our old friends, we did get some great QT with our little family. There is always our 20 year reunion!! :)

RICE CEREAL=YUCKY!!

The other night we decided to try some solids with Bailey. We started out with some rice cereal which is probably the blandest thing you could possibly put in your mouth, but by her reaction you would have thought we were feeding her a lemon. I guess we will try something else next time!



Of course once we stopped trying to feed her that horrible stuff she was all smiles!

DR'S APPT!

So I took the kids into see the dr. for Bailey's 4 month check up and Logan's 4 year check up. I thought we would be in and out pretty quickly, but little did I know. Bailey was an angel of course. She finally gained some wait coming in at a whopping 15lbs. She had to get 3 shots, but for the most part took it pretty well. Turns out though that she is going to to be exactly like her brother. I can't even tell you how many times I would take Logan in for a well check and they would say he had bad ear infections and I had no clue. I finally had to ask the dr. how the heck am I supposed to know if he is sick if he isn't fussy or not fevering. Of course, the dr. would reassure me that it happens, but I would still feel horribly. Well, sure enough Dr. Winkler checked Baileys ears today and she has an ear infection on both sides. :( Poor thing. Then it was Logan's turn. You would have never guessed that he was a big boy by the way he acted because he was screaming and kicking and crying the whole time. Then we found out he had to have 4 shots. HOLY COW - people probably thought we were sawing off his legs! Oh and of course he had an ear infection also!So we walked in feeling great, but then walked out with 2 ear infections, 2 prescriptions, tear stained cheeks and little legs covered in Daffy Duck bandaids. What a morning!

FALL SOCCER!

We asked Logan if he would rather play t-ball again this fall or play soccer (we only offered because his best friend was playing soccer and they could be on the same team). Much to our dismay he chose soccer. :( Not that we have anything against soccer, it's just we are baseball people and we were hoping that Logan would be as well. I was going back and forth to just make him play tball anyways (I know... I am fighting my urge to be that kind of parent), but decided that if soccer is what he chose than I would support him 100%. Well, he had his first practice last night and he LOVED it! He was so stinkin cute in his little shin guards and cleats and was totally into kicking the ball and running around! He can't wait for the next practice! :)







Not quite the ALL-Star yet, but definitely getting there! :)
