SAN DIEGO, HERE WE COME!

I finally booked our hotel and now have to choose between all the fun activities to do for a WHOLE week in San Diego! I can't even tell you how EXCITED I am! We haven't had a vacation since before I was pregnant with Bailey, so we are long overdue... expect TONS of pictures very soon! :)

QUESTION...

What do you get when you and your 4 year old son stay up WAY TOO late playing with your iphone??

LOTS of delirious giggles, priceless mommy and son time, and these one of a kind master pieces. I am not trying to point the finger, but when these puppies surface in the future (maybe right around the time they start bringing home girlfriends and boyfriends) I am claiming that it was ALL Logan's idea! :)

Cake Time

I finally got to do a cake this weekend for my friend's little girl's first birthday party. She loves birdies so this is what I came up with. I LOVE doing cakes for Nicole because she always gives me something to do that I have never done before which makes it super fun for me. :)

PS. The colors were pink, yellow and blue. The pictures make the pink look more orangish red. :(

TBall 2010

Logan started up tball again and the difference between this season and last season is just astounding. The kid is actually looking like he knows what he is doing out there. His favorite part is batting, of course, but he is such a go getter that he is the first one to run out to the field and the first one to run back in. This past Saturday he was having such a great time that it just melted my heart. He came up to me and said "Mommy, this is the best game ever... I love baseball... I don't want to play soccer anymore." HAHA! Like I said... melt my heart!

PS. I have nothing against soccer, but we are a baseball and football kind of family. :)

A DAY AT THE PARK

Play dates at the park is one of those things I think I miss out on the most by having to work full time. I would be HAPPY to give up the job, the cars, the extra money... pretty much EVERYTHING to be able to see these sweet faces everyday. (Thank goodness for gorgeous Saturdays!)





Bailey was loving the slide until mommy was too busy tryng to take pictures and let her take a nose dive off the end. :( Just go ahead and give me my mother of the year award!

FAST FORWARD TO MARCH!

Man, where the heck did these last 3 months go?? My head is spinning by how fast life is flying by. Here is a very short and very quick update on the beginning of our 2010:

- We rang in the new year with a suprise 30th birthday party for my sister at her house complete with all her favorite friends, yummy food, games, and 3 crazy little kids who made it all the way to midnight to watch the fireworks.

- School started again. This is the last semester for Billy before he starts his rounds... only one more year to go in May! I am taking an online class and a 7am class as well. I love that I have my nights free, but 7am is too early for my brain!

- We finally got to leave Las Vegas. Even though it was just to go to St. George and for only 3 days, it was still super nice to be away!

- I won a car! I know... insane, huh! Long story short, I signed up online and then got a call that I won. We are going to take the money & run!

- Billy and I got called to the activities committee. I am totally excited to do some more activity planning. We are finally getting to know people in our new ward and we are loving it!

- Billy and I ran a 5K! HAHAHA! That is me laughing out loud about how out of shape I am in although I should probably be crying. I made it my goal this year to run the Las Vegas Marathon. Thank goodness it isn't until December because I have a LONG way to go!

I think that pretty much wraps it up. I sometimes think that we are way too busy for our own good, but we are having the time of our lives watching the kids get big and being together as a family. :)

Winter Wonderland!!

Well, not really a winter wonderland, but Opportunity Village Forest of Lights is close enough. We took the kids tonight and met up with Janet and Tyler (Logan's BFF). They had a blast! I love how as you get older and have a family that the funnest part of your life is just watching your kids have a great time! I had a blast just watching them. :)
