AND THE WINNER IS...

It was a close battle, but after tallying all the written votes and a couple of verbal votes the winner is the RIP/hands pumpkin done by my cute hubby! Coming in second (barely missing 1st by 1 vote I might add) was my sister's cute little Halloween goblin. :) Thanks for all your votes guys!

PS. Mine was the pirate skeleton and my brother in law did Yoda. Pretty bummed I wasn't even in the top 2, but just means I will have to amaze you guys next year!! :)

NEED YOUR VOTE!!

Every year we always have a contest on whose pumpkin is the best. Usually we just ask the trick or treaters as they come to the house, but since this year since we were out trick or treating ourselves we weren't able to get an idea. So I need your help... leave a comment on whose you like the best so we can settle this! :) And just so it isn't biased I won't tell you which one is which until next week!

HALLOWEEN - PART TWO!!

Since Halloween fell on a Saturday, I FINALLY got to put together a little Halloween party for Logan and some friends. We had all the essentials... mummy dogs, moldy bones (breadsticks), rotten apple punch with worms, witches bubbly brew, monster cupcakes and much more! While I was thinking of all the fun stuff I could do the one thought that kept me wanting to do more was a bunch of little kids oohing & aawwing over all the fun stuff! I was totally satisfied because all the kids LOVED it!! It's all for them! :)

After we partied at our house, it was time for Trick or Treating! Logan was totally into it although he kept complaining that his bag was getting too heavy. Billy and I were like what kind of kid complains about his candy being too heavy! Bailey was a perfect little angel. She fell asleep about 10 mins into walking and stayed that way until we got back to the car. Once, we got home Logan watched a Halloween movie and finally went to sleep after a long day.

The perfect ending to a perfect Halloween!!

HALLOWEEN - PART ONE!

I am going to start this one off by saying I LOVE HALLOWEEN!! I think it is so much fun and really one of those nights where everyone can be a kid! When Crystal & I were little we lived out in the country so no one came to our house for candy. We never decorated or carved pumpkins until we moved out after high school. It is just one of those things that should be a must at Halloween time especially if you have kiddos! On Friday we got to have Crystal, Scotty & Hunter as well as Billy's classmate Andrew and his wife and two kids come over to carve pumpkins. It was a blast!
