VACATION... LEGOLAND!!

The rest of our vacation we basically slept in (black out blinds are the best!) and then went to Legoland everyday. We had originally planned to go for two days, but Logan loved it so much that we spent three whole days there. We were so excited that he wasn't scared one little bit and talks about his favorite roller coasters still to this day. It makes me excited for him to be old enough to go to Magic Mountain! :)

VACATION PART 2!

I inappropriately labeled my first vacation post as day one when we actually went to the beach on our second day. I also forgot to mention the fact that after we got back to the hotel from the beach, someone broke into our car and tried to steal some of our stuff, but luckily Billy was feeling like Superman that day and saved the day. He caught the bandit and took all of our stuff back. No seriously, he found the crazy lady and yanked our stuff right out of her hands. Very bizarre at the time, but we can laugh about it now. Anyways, let's get back to the fun stuff. The third day of our vacation was as follows:

- We slept in! (until almost 11am... absolutely blissful)

- We got to go to Ikea! Sadly, I didn't get any photos although I totally wanted to take a picture of the smartest invention on the planet. They totally have little seats attached to the walls in the bathroom stalls so that you can strap in your little one while you take care of your business. BRILLIANT! Why hasn't everyone jumped on that band wagon?? (especially Walmart)

- We got to go to a Padres baseball game. They played the Colorado Rockies and even though they lost the game was pretty exciting and the stadium was great! The kids loved it! Logan was so good and attentive the whole time. Poor Bailey was putting on quite a show (dancing and clapping) in between every inning, trying desperately to get on the big screen, but the camera never found her. Our whole section fell in love with her, though, so she was still the star of the show.

WE ARE GROWING!

We will soon be a family of 5! Yep, I am pregnant!! We are totally excited and feel so blessed to be able to get pregnant so quick considering it took awhile for both of my other ones. I am due on February 25th and just to make this pregnancy a little different than the other two we decided that we are NOT going to find out what the sex is. Since I am a total pack rat and can't throw anything away, I still have all of Logan's baby stuff so I figured we have everything we need for either a girl or boy. I think I have always wanted to be able to deliver a baby and have the doctor shout out "it's a boy/girl" and then have Billy call everyone and let them know also just like they did it in the old movies! I get excited just thinking about it! Make sure to get your guesses ready because I am sure we will be taking bets by the end of this! :)

PS. For all of those people who think I am crazy for having another one so quickly (probably none of you guys who follow this, though) YES, it was planned. YES, we have always wanted more than just 2 kids. And, YES, we are even thinking of having another one after this. Just because we already have a boy and a girl doesn't mean we are ready to throw in the towel yet. We are mormon. Don't they know that having lots of babies is what we do! LOL :)

VACATION... DAY ONE!

I know it has been awhile since we have been back from our Carlsbad vacation, so bare with me as I back track. Since we got to do tons of different things while we were there, I am going to have to break this up into a few different posts. :) I am going to start off by saying that Billy and I HATE spending money on hotels. We would much rather spend that money doing things, but this time we decided we would buck up and actually stay at a resort on the beach. We booked a condo with a seperate room (great for when Bailey went to bed at night) and full kitchen. Much to our dismay, though, when we got there to check in, they told us they had a flood and we lost our condo. The best they could do was give us the same type of condo, but down the road a few miles and not on the beach. They did, however, give us a FREE week to come back to see them at another time so it all worked out. We got settled and decided the first thing we would do was to go to the beach. Thank goodness we chose that day to go because that was the only day the sun would be out for the ENTIRE week! The kids loved it even though it was pretty cold. :)
PS. There are TONS of pictures!

It's Logan against the ocean... my money is on the fisty 4 year old!

MY BIG KID!!!

I am still in denial that I will soon have a son in school at the end of the month, but there are definitely things that are happening that make it all so real like shopping for school uniforms, getting school supplies, meeting his teacher and all that fun stuff. And last night he had his preschool graduation, which symbolizes his transformation from my cute little guy to my cute big kid! When I was getting the video camera ready to take with me I found all these great home videos of his first christmas and his birthday parties and the first time he went to the beach. He truly is such a special guy that has the sweetest heart, but is all boy for sure. The whole week he was so excited to graduate with his cap and gown that he could hardly stand it. Once we got there, he got in his chair and sang all the songs and even got a cute award for "Best Hair" :) Afterwards, we headed on over to Red Robin and had some yummy dinner topped off with a big kid chocolate shake! He got to stay up late and ended up falling asleep on the couch around 10:30. If this is what we have to look forward to as Logan gets bigger than I can't wait for the future to happen!

SAN DIEGO, HERE WE COME!

I finally booked our hotel and now have to choose between all the fun activities to do for a WHOLE week in San Diego! I can't even tell you how EXCITED I am! We haven't had a vacation since before I was pregnant with Bailey, so we are long overdue... expect TONS of pictures very soon! :)

QUESTION...

What do you get when you and your 4 year old son stay up WAY TOO late playing with your iphone??

LOTS of delirious giggles, priceless mommy and son time, and these one of a kind master pieces. I am not trying to point the finger, but when these puppies surface in the future (maybe right around the time they start bringing home girlfriends and boyfriends) I am claiming that it was ALL Logan's idea! :)
